Flossmoor’s Future MARKETING & EVENTS UPDATE
It goes without saying The Hidden Gem Half Marathon was an unqualified success.
Over 600 runners from 17 states came to Flossmoor for the day and were greeted by cheering crowds and over 300 community volunteers.
It was one shining day for the village. Numerous guests stuck around to enjoy Flossmoor Fest.
Survey results were absolutely over the top with many participants rating it as the best half marathon they ever ran in.
Numerous media ran stories leading up to and after the event.

In 2020, the race will be a part of the exclusive Chicago Area Runners Association Circuit race (CARA) this s distinction is only achieved by just a few of the numerous races held in Chicagoland and rarely given to a race as young as ours!
